Starbase (Parent Grade Portal)

• Click Here to see the handout that was sent home last year and is in the first marking period DAB (you might want to check DABs for the passwords before the mp ends and kids throw away their DABS.  If you tried to get on before and it didn't work, read this handout carefully first.

• Passwords were given at Back to School Night OR were mailed home with midterm progress reports at the end of October.

• If you didn't see it or it doesn't work, the fastest way to get one is to call the Main Office.  Be Careful if you CHANGE a password because it is harder to help you if you forget- there is no way to get it again.

• Team Yale is trying to promote student responsibility by allowing students to check grades in school but we need parents to check too.  Team Yale teachers will only print progress reports on a case by case basis if there is an individual need.

• Sometimes there are issues with new students-the best way to deal with that is to call the Main Office.

• Some Codes teachers might use:  NHI-Not Handed In, P-Pending Grade, EXC- Excused, INC-Incomplete, LTE-Late, AB-Absent (needs to be made up)

• Currently, blank grades do not count against the average.  If you see assignments with no grade (it will be yellow), the average course grade MAY BE LOWER than what is displayed.

• If you have other questions about specific assignments, the teacher would be best to contact.  Team Yale likes email best because we spend almost every minute planning, preparing, and meeting to have a fantastic Yale Team.
