Key Points and News:We went over the homework, watched a current event about Childhood obesity, Making life expectancy drop this year.  Then we did a pipecleaner activity so we could see chromosomes dividing once in mitosis and twice in meiosis.  Last we made index cards to help study for the test on Monday

Key Points and News:  Took some notes for our new chapter 4 notebook, gave out progress reports (many assignments and notebooks are missing, we have 3 weeks left of the mp).  We did a few more presentations but the judging is getting tougher, now that we know what is expected, like speaking up and teaching the class, and knowing the meaning of words used in the slide show.

Key Points and News:  Friday is the last day of the MP and last chance for extra credit or late work.  We started an outline, trying to do more on our own, rather than just copying what the teacher says to copy.

Key Points:  All classes are 99% finished presentations.  We checked our notes to be sure we got the important points on our own or fixed them.  We did an activity to learn about fossils and how scientists have to guess sometimes until more info comes in.
